The Saqiya Festival. An annual celebration in the Dynasty of the Golden Lotus, hailing the return of the Mösön Khalim from their northeastward migration. Named one of the Seven Spectacles of Kylia, the shedding of the giant, whale-like Khalim’s icy crystal shell results in a visual marvel of thousands of light pillars that bathe the capital city of Halitas in every color of the rainbow.
A 10 day-long event, locals spend months preparing food, decorations, and performances. Aside from the light pillars of the Mösön Khalim, the highlight of the festival is a gladiatorial tournament, hosted by the Board of Gold, that takes place in the Saqiya, Halitas’s premier arena complex. To the victor goes the spoils, and the honor of having their name immortalized in the halls of the Saqiya forevermore. Sixty-four challengers will enter the arena. But only one will stand under the light of the Khalim. Think you’ve got what it takes?
Rules
1. Design an original character with Artwork.
2. Write a short character summary of 2 sentences. Additionally you can add a up to 500 word biography if you want to flesh out your character.
3. Assign 10 points into the following categories; Speed, Attack, Ranged, Defense.
4. Post it to the google form and on Instagram tagging us with the hashtag #LegendsofKyliaContest
Voting
We will vote on our favorite 64 characters as a team based on style, lore, and fun factor.
The top 64 characters will be put into a tournament arc where you will play the PVP game over discord and the winner takes home the grand prize.
