A cunning and resourceful nation, the Immortal Empire’s ideology centers around power and honor. They command an unprecedented mastery over tactical strategy and are driven by their desire to conquer and control.
Dynasty of the Golden Lotus
The most prosperous and largest faction, many of the citizens of the Dynasty of the Golden Lotus are merchants or traders who have built their fortunes upon the sales of daraku and other desirable goods.
Jade Destiny Sect
Located far off in the East, isolated on and above the Island of Shuihuo, sits the Jade Destiny Sect. Masters of the arts and sciences, they focus on the pursuit of knowledge for the purpose of cultivating spiritual enlightenment.
Phoenix Coalition
As the second youngest faction, the Phoenix Coalition was formed as the result of a unification between three smaller nations. They are known for their immense diversity and pride themselves on their sense of freedom.
Order of the Divine
A pious group that broke away from the Kingdom of Eternals some centuries ago. Although the two factions maintain close ties, because of their emphasis on religion, the Order of the Divine is highly particular about who they allow into their faction.
Blood Tribe
Rather than a single nation, the Blood Tribe is the collective way of referring to the numerous individual groups of daraku users in the Wild Lands. Nomadic by nature, these tribes maintain a unique connection to the ara’atan as a result of spending their whole lives in communion with them.
