The gaseous form of genki, vayu is a deadly substance that only occurs when daraku is superheated extremely quickly. The gas itself is very dense and sits just above surface level. Some researchers claim that certain Blood Tribes have achieved skills beyond the typical mortal capacity by inhaling trace amounts of vayu at a time over extended periods. However, due to ethical reasons, further scientific studies into the matter have been banned by all of the six major nations, thus leaving said claims unfounded for now.
